Pledge to the planet
Sustainability is at the heart of our business.
At every stage of production and distribution we aim to minimise the environmental impact, from choosing recycled paper packaging to powering our sewing machines from solar panels, the aim is always to reduce, reuse and recycle.
We need a regular supply of cashmere for upcycling to create the hundreds of garmets we make each year. We source most of our cashmere from local charity shops, otherefore contributing to the work done by local charities and ensuring less waste goes to landfill.
We do everything we can to use as much of the original cashmere garment as possible but even the tiny remnants get used, being donated to local scrap stores for crafting projects.
Cashmere Amnesty
This year I set up the “Cashmere Amnesty”, where you can donate unwanted 100% cashmere jumpers in return for a £10 voucher to be spent on Chilly Billy items.
